Assembly confirms appointments of new SPPF members |29 January 2005

They are Mr Dan Frichot of Bel Ombre and Mrs Marie-Louise Potter of Beau Vallon. They will be replacing Mr Ralph Agrippine and Isabelle Joubert.

Speaker Francis MacGregor has said that the appointments are in line with the Constitution and said he had been officially informed by the SPPF's Secretariat about the changes.

The National Assembly will reconvene on Tuesday February 8 when President James Michel will deliver his State-of-the-Nation address.
