The company’s first client, the 171 ft. “Tigre d’Or” arrived at the Wharf Hotel and Marina on November 5, where the new company is providing services such as the handling of all entry, exit and other formalities related to the vessel’s stay, provision of supplies and boatyard and machine shop facilities.
A press release from the company states that, “Servicing Superyachts in the Seychelles, Seal Superyachts Seychelles provide a specialized service to the yachting industry, from small private vessels right up to the world's largest pleasure craft.”
The new company is an off-shoot of Seal Superyachts Asia and the local directors are Gonsalves Larue and Alastair Maiden both of whom have worked in the local yachting industry for a number of years.
The company’s launch follows the recent publication in a range of yachting magazines, of articles by the Seychelles Tourism Board (STB) showcasing Seychelles as an attractive sailing destination.
