Hilton to manage Northolme says STB head |11 March 2006
Mr Loustea-Lalanne made the announcement after receiving Hilton publicity material stating that they would begin managing the Maldivian owned Glacis hotel on April,1, this year.
No official word from the Maldivian investors Crown and Champa and Kuredu Hotels, who bought the hotel from Cosproh (Compagnie Seychelloise pour la Promotion Hoteliere) for $3.4million, has been received yet.
Officially reopened in December last year, the Northolme had been closed for almost a year and a half for what started as a refurbishment and evolved into a top to bottom overhaul of the hotel.
In addition to the sale price a further $18 million was spent on the hotel refit.
Prices at the 40-room five-star resort start at Euro 640 per room.
