SHTTC to move to more spacious premises |14 October 2006

This was announced by the director of the college, Brian Hoareau, during an Open Day that the college hosted recently.

Mr Hoareau said the new college will take in more students, further to the additional 200 it is contemplating for next year.

The new structure will also allow the college to bring up to date its equipment and facilities, Mr Hoareau added.

During the Open Day, S4 students got an overview of the different courses on offer at the institution as well as the opportunity to meet and discuss with employers in the tourism industry.

Besides getting the chance to view several exhibitions mounted by the different sections of the college especially for the day, the student guests were also treated to a cultural show featuring traditional dances, songs and a play.
