Visit of Joint ACP-EU Parliamentary Assembly delegation in pictures

The aim was to assess the importance of fishing here in terms of jobs, generation of revenue and foreign exchange, and to see how funds could be allocated to its development.

During their visit, the delegation comprising members of the Joint African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) and European Union (EU) Parliamentary Assembly (JPA) had the chance to assess the importance of the fisheries industry to our small economy, discuss the various related statistics, see the different and important connections with the industry and the large number of people involved and who depend on fisheries for a livelihood.
