Beauty queen pays call on President |09 October 2008
The visit follows the beauty pageant’s tradition of having the winner pay a courtesy call on the President.
Among the things she discussed with Mr Michel were her preparations for the Miss World Beauty Pageant to be held in South Africa in six weeks’ time.
Ms Angione will take part in Miss World and not Miss Intercontinental, as her predecessors have done over the years.
The pageant’s first princess, Sophia Marie, will take part in Miss Intercontinental and the second princess, Natalie Domingue, will compete in Miss East Africa.
