Football..-Barclays Bank sponsors R500,000 |03 March 2009

Loganaden Sidambaram, the managing director of Barclays Seychelles handed the cheque to SFF treasurer Justin Mathiot during half-time of Saturday’s President’s Cup match between St Louis Suns and St Michel at Stad Linite.

Barclays Bank (Seychelles) has been sponsoring the first, second and third division league championships for the past three years.

In 2007, SFF chairman Suketu Patel and former Barclays Bank (Seychelles) managing director Frank Hoareau signed a three-year sponsorship deal (Seychelles) worth R1,350,000.

Barclays Bank (Seychelles) gave R400,000 in 2007 and R450, 000 in the second year. The R500,000 is the last installment.
