Ms Rath said the gift coincides with the Lent period, which is a time to share with the less fortunate.

She added that she has acknowledged the grace of God since she started her business and that sharing with others what she has gained is a way to show her gratitude.

“I have been in difficult situations in my life before, and through prayers the Lord helped me to put things back together,” she said.
The more you give, the more you receive, she added, and this has helped her to succeed in life.

On behalf of the children, Sister Maria thanked Ms Rath for her kind gesture, which she said will bring them joy and happiness.
Apart from clothes, the girls received shoes, slippers, bags and stationery.
