Ambassador Triboldi passes away-President Michel sends letter of condolence |11 August 2009
President Michel has also said that his passing marks a great sorrow for all the people of Seychelles - his adopted country.
In a letter to the Triboldi family President Michel says that he appreciated Mr Triboldi’s simplicity, discretion and sense of duty.
“I will keep fond memories of Graziano Triboldi. I valued his qualities as a man of commitment and good will, which inspired my confidence and esteem, as well as the respect and admiration of all those who worked with him,” says President Michel.
Ambassador Triboldi was appointed Seychelles’ Ambassador in 2006. In December 2008 he was accredited as Seychelles Ambassador to the Holy See. He was also previously the Seychelles Honorary Consul in Genoa, Italy from 2002. He has also been involved in many acts of philanthropy in Seychelles over the years.
President Michel wishes Ambassador Triboldi’s widow and children much courage during their painful time of mourning.
