Sinon shoots to victory |07 September 2010

In the final, Sinon defeated Vivianne Finesse on a low 6-2 score.

After progressing to the semifinal with the lowest score of nine, Sinon beat her big sister Sheila Chang-Time 12-4 to move to the final.

Finesse triumphed in the other last-four match with a 13-5 score against young Sheena Mangroo, who had dominated the round-robin phase with the highest score of 14.

Mangroo had to settle for fourth place after losing the third place play-off match 1-7 to her aunt Sheila Chang-Time.

Eight players took part in the competition.

Meanwhile, there will be a doubles tournament for men’s, junior and women’s teams this coming Sunday, starting at 10am at the La Promenade boulodrome.
