Le Meridien Barbarons hotel donates to Children’s Homes Foundation |25 June 2011

The general manager of Le Meridien Barbarons Hotel, Pierre Delplace, handed over the cheque to the First Lady and chairperson of the Children’s Homes Foundation, Natalie Michel, in a ceremony at State House earlier this week.

Present at the handover ceremony were Angel Kate, the director for Human Resources at Le Meridien Barbarons and the chief executive of the Children’s Homes Foundation, Noella Gontier.

Accepting the cheque, Mrs Michel expressed sincere appreciation to Mr Delplace for the faithful support of Le Meridien Barbarons towards the cause of the foundation.

Mr Delplace said it was a pleasure for Starwood and Le Meridien Barbarons to be affiliated with the Children’s Homes Foundation and the different groups of children that the foundation serves. 

He also renewed the pledge on behalf of the company and the hotel to continue working with the foundation towards improving the condition of children needing special attention in Seychelles.

The hotel management raised the funds for the donation through different activities organised for that purpose.
 
Le Meridien Barbarons has in the past made donations of essential household items to the President’s Village.
