Assembly unanimously approves Vat delay |27 June 2012

A Bill tabled before the Assembly to that effect was presented by the Minister for Finance, Trade and Investment Pierre Laporte.

All the members who intervened following Minister Laporte’s presentation said the decision will bring some relief to consumers and businesses alike.

They said it will also give the authorities time to carry out more studies to determine if the Vat is the right tax for Seychelles.
