Bodybuilder Mathew Suzette passes away |03 June 2014

The local sports family has lost another young sportsman – Mathew Suzette. The Praslinois bodybuilder was found dead yesterday morning at around 7am at his place at Salazie, Côte d’Or, Praslin. The

police have said it was the mother of 24-year-old Suzette who found him motionless and informed the police of the incident. According to the police, Suzette, who worked for Paradise Sun Hotel, was

last seen alive two days before the discovery, adding it is presumed he could have died sometimes between Saturday night and the early hours of Sunday.  Suzette who was staying alone was found

motionless in his bedroom and was certified dead by the doctor at the Baie Ste Anne hospital. The police are investigating this sudden death case while they await postmortem result to establish the

cause of death. Suzette used to practice bodybuilding and won the Mr Seychelles junior 2009 title in front of Lynell Hoareau and was second to Emmanuel Pierre in the Junior Championship in 2010.
