Josephine Bibi celebrates her 103rd birthday |24 September 2014

Josephine Bibi of Port Glaud celebrated her 103rd birthday with family members, friends and acquaintances of her district at her home in Port Glaud on Monday.

Mother of former member of the National Assembly for Port Glaud Ginette Gamatis, Mrs Bibi received a hamper from President James Michel.

It was Dan Frichot, special advisor for community development within the Ministry of Social Affairs, Community Development and Sports, who presented the hamper to Mrs Bibi.

He also congratulated Mrs Bibi on celebrating her 103rd birthday.

Members of the association regrouping the senior citizens of Port Glaud also contributed to make Mrs Bibi’s birthday celebrations more fun. They also presented her with a hamper as gift.
One of her sons also offered her a basket of fruits.
