Air Seychelles cabin crew complete world-class training with Etihad Airways |25 February 2015
A group of 10 Air Seychelles cabin crew have graduated from the Etihad Airways Training Academy in Abu Dhabi after completing a demanding five-week course.
The group is the thirteenth from Air Seychelles to receive training at the state-of-the-art facility where the programme covers safety and service training on the Airbus A330-200 and A320 aircraft.
The chief executive of Air Seychelles, Manoj Papa, attended the ceremony and congratulated the graduates on their achievement.
“The training programme is world-class and has equipped our crew with the skills and professionalism that are the foundation of our award-winning Creole service.
“This has been made possible by our partnership with Etihad Airways, which gives Air Seychelles access to best-in-class safety and service training, and allows us to continue investing in our talented workforce.
"Our recent win at the World Travel Awards 2014, where Air Seychelles was recognised as having the Indian Ocean’s leading cabin crew, is testament to the excellent training and inflight service of our cabin crew,” Mr Papa said.
The graduation ceremony, which took place on Thursday February 19, was also attended by Granger Narara, general manager operations, and Francisca Moonsammy, head of cabin operations.
This group brings to 194 the total number of Air Seychelles cabin crew to go through safety and service training at the Etihad Airways Training Academy.
