The world famous motorcycle team of ‘Shwet Ashw’ (White Horse) from the Indian Army’s Corps of Military Police will be performing, a never seen before, scintillating stunt show as part of the National Day parade this year.
Flown in from India in a special military aircraft on Monday, the Motorcycle Riders Display Team (MCRDT), as they are called, are known for their dare-devil acts and accuracy in driving and balancing skills.
The 42-member team from the Indian Military Police Centre, Bangalore, India, under the leadership of Col HS Sidhu, will perform 30-minute long death-defying acrobatics stunts on their blazing Royal Enfield Bullet Motorcycles.
Performed with great precision, the riders will individually show their skills along with their group performances like scissor-crossing, crisscrossing, parallel crossing, 'V' crossing, ladder march and displaying replicas of flower, trishul, lotus, flying fish, sudarshan chakra, rocket, tube jump, etc.
With two Guinness world records under their belt, the ‘Shwet Ashw’ promises to be the highlight of the Seychelles National Day celebrations.
As part of their breathtaking performance, the riders will even jump over a group of people.
The trick-riding and formation-riding undertaken by the team are one of the most dangerous in the world of group motorcycling.
This special team is brought to Seychelles by the Indian high commission to mark a special year with high level bilateral exchanges.
