New apartments offer quality accommodation in the heart of Victoria |01 December 2016
The owners of Quadrant Apartments, situated on the top floor of the newly built Quadrant Building in Victoria, recently held a preview evening where potential clients were invited to have a look at those apartments and its amenities.
Owned by company Quadrant Limited with Hunt, Deltel & Co having the principal share in it, the new Quadrant Building has boutiques and shops on the ground floor, offices higher up and the luxury apartments on the fourth floor.
As for Hunt, Deltel & Co, it was formed in 1937 and is a Seychelles registered and owned company, with an extensive portfolio of activities, with particular emphasis in shipping and service related fields.
The seven furnished apartments are well-equipped and fully-serviced and consist of three two-bedroom and four one-bedroom. Cable Television, room service and free local telephone calls are included in the rent rate. The one-bedroom apartments are being rented at €150 + VAT per day and the two-bedroom ones at €250 + VAT per day or the equivalent in rupees.
The owners are targeting the business sector, especially those seeking short-term quality accommodation for colleagues from overseas.
It is to be noted that Quadrant Apartments are not for tourism.
Locals who want to rent a room for a day or two are also welcome.
As for parking, Quadrant Apartments have reserved parking spaces for each apartment in the basement of the building. Security services are also available.
“These apartments have been built to support businesses in Victoria for when they have for example consultants coming in they have a place to stay in town. We have started the marketing process. The apartments are available for any business who has someone coming to work in Seychelles and who has his/her GOP,” said Christopher Houareau, general manager Hunt, Deltel & Co. He stressed that these apartments are not tourism establishments but service department.
“They are there to offer a short-term solution for clients, to make it easy for them to stay and work in Victoria,” said Mr Houareau.
Explaining the raison d’être of these types of apartment, Mr Houareau said as a business in Victoria, Hunt Deltel always felt the need for such types of accommodation for people coming here on short-term work.
The Quadrant Building is situated on Huteau Lane near Food Pro and Meat Corner.
