Tennis Players headed for Under-12 East Africa Junior Championships |22 April 2017
Two young tennis players will leave Seychelles for Kenya on Monday where they are due to compete in the Under-12 East Africa Junior Championships.
Alisha Shah and Arielle Horpinitch will travel to Nairobi, Kenya, in their first international outing where they will compete in the tournament that will take place from April 24-30.
Coach Tim Horpinitch, who will be accompanying the two young players, said there’s no high expectation on the players who he hope will use this experience as a learning process.
“This is the first international tournament they partake in and we want them to go there to get the experience of international tennis and also see the level of the players there, so that they can come back and look to be better,” he said.
