Hampers & Gifts by 5Ms introduces online buying |07 August 2017

Hampers & Gifts by 5 Ms owned by Maria Thomas and family, has introduced online buying for its locally and self-made hampers and gifts for all occasions.

Apart from being available online, Hampers & Gifts also operates at Providence at Micro enterprise complex, Zone 18.

“We believe we are the first gift hamper service as well as the first online personalised gift service in Seychelles. It is a great achievement because what makes it stands apart from the rest is we are not re-selling but creating and making them,” says Maria.

The website is www.hampersngiftby5ms.com where potential clients can view prices and product descriptions online which they need to register before doing so. And after registration the client can have full access to the products.

Maria explains the time span of delivery after they have ordered and paid for their products online:

“We prefer two days for us to gather and work on orders after purchasing online as well as allowing enough time for payments to be cleared. You can pay online with your credit card or Paypal. View FAQS to see other modes of payment.”

How is the response so far? Maria says so far her clients from Facebook are adapting quite well to the change. But some are more comfortable talking to her through messenger.

“The purpose of the online shopping is that everyone can be assisted in a timely manner instead of waiting for my replies on Facebook or SMS,” she says.

Hampers & Gifts by 5Ms has gone much further than offering only a local online service.

“We can ship abroad too. Till now great international interests have been from Facebook friends from Mauritius. Again we have the FAQs page on the site where all questions can be answered or can contact us for questions that are not there,” she says.

Maria adds this is a modern step taken, bringing Seychelles and small businesses to another level. Even if it’s nothing big, it should be let known. Hampers & Gifts by 5Ms caters for both individuals and corporate clients.
