Judge Melchior Vidot acting as CJ |14 October 2017
President Danny Faure has appointed Supreme Court Judge Melchior Vidot to act as Chief Justice during the absence from the Republic of Her Ladyship Mathilda Twomey, the Chief Justice, from October 14 - 19, 2017.
This follows the recommendation of the Constitutional Appointments Authority, and is in accordance with Article 128 (1)(b) of the Constitution.
