Enterprise Seychelles Agency board members appointed |04 August 2018

Brenda Bastienne is the chairperson of the Enterprise Seychelles Agency.

She has been appointed byPresident Danny Faure and the other members are Jose St Ange (vice-chairperson), Angelique Antat, Marie-Celine Zialor, Andy Ally, Nigel Payet and Josette Weber (members).

The appointment takes effect from August 5, 2018 for a period of three years, in accordance with the Enterprise Seychelles Agency Act, 2018.

The Enterprise Seychelles Agency replaces the Small Enterprise Promotion Agency (Senpa). Its function is to provide to the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) with the necessary services and support for start-up services including needs analysis, business, legal advice, and aftercare.

It will also help the entrepreneurs to better plan their businesses for financial viability and to encourage the sale of locally made products in the domestic and export markets.

The agency will also ease provision of training, promotion and marketing services to MSMEs.
